Alef Kaballah
The Locked Garden
21 April 2020
Tazria-Metzora
The Rebbe taught this discourse on Shabbat Tazria in 1987. The Jewish people are compared to 'a locked garden', symbolizing a bride who is 'locked' to all but her husband. In the same way, says the Zohar and other sources, the power of delight of a Jewish individual should be reserved for the Divine.
