Alef Kaballah

Leviathan

26 March 2019
Shemini

Taught by the Rebbe on Shabbat Shemini in 1965, this discourse discusses the battle described in the Midrash between Leviathan and Behemoth, two mystical beasts, in the future.  This is described as a 'circus', which is also the circus of life.  Further, these two beasts are described as representing two kinds of Tzaddik: one who is beyond the practical world, and the other who is within it. They also provide insight into the spiritual struggle of each individual.
