CRU SELECTED ACTIVITIES

The Alef Kabbala Group, Tuesday evenings, 8.30pm, Oakwood Road, NW11, explores a Kabbalistic-Chassidic text called a Maamar (Discourse) by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.  The text is in Hebrew but no prior knowledge is necessary. Project LeChaim, Wednesday evenings, 8.30-10.15pm, Lubavitch House, 107-115 Stamford Hill, N16 5RB.  Study of the weekly Torah Portion and of Tanya, the basic text of Chabad, written by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi some two centuries ago.

Lunchtime Study Group at London and Regional, 117 George Street, W1. Thursdays 1.00-2.00pm for businessmen.  The weekly Torah Portion is discussed in English translation. Sandwich lunch is served by courtesy of Mr Colin Gershinson.

The Friday Night Project, a weekly A5 page about the Sedra of the Week, for adults and also on a second page, for Young People, mailed to your home.  It can also be sent by email and is available on the CRU website.

The Psychotherapy Group, practicing psychotherapists explore the relevance of Jewish teaching to the therapeutic process, with Rabbi Shmuel Lew and Dr Tali Loewenthal, meeting monthly in Highgate.
